Jay co-founded what would ultimately become Handy Networks back in 1997 while he was still a sophomore in high school. Since then, Jay has combined his technical capabilities and business experience to expand and grow Handy Networks into the organization it is today.
Jay travels extensively for work, as his advice and expertise is sought out at publicly traded companies and at Internet governance related bodies such as ICANN.
Lindsay has been with Handy Networks since 2013, previously working as the Support Manager for the 24/7 Support Staff and Project Manager for internal and client projects. She is now working as the Director of Operations, overseeing the day to day projects and activities of Handy Networks.
She lives in Denver with her husband and her dog, Peak, and enjoys baking, gardening, reading, and video games.
Mark has 30+ years of information technology and telecommunications experience within Fortune 500 communications companies and high-tech start-up environments; specifically serving enterprise, federal/state/local governments, higher education, advanced research and education network providers, and K-12 school districts.
In his current role, he is responsible for expanding Handy Network’s customer base and solutions portfolio within the public sector. He is passionate about supporting the mission of public sector entities by applying his expertise by helping them solve operational challenges through the implementation of cost-effective and scalable IT solutions.
He is a Golden Core Member of the IEEE Computer Society, former Vice-President of the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA) – Rocky Mountain Chapter, and former collegiate guest lecturer and instructor of marketing and economics.
Mark is a recovering blues guitarist who also enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, and rock climbing. He and his wife have been married for 40+ years, enjoy their two independent adult children, and live-in suburban Denver, CO.
In his 20 Years in the technology space, Steve has dedicated himself to promoting the power of technology to change our world. He has worked in many capacities within the Technology world, from training Banks and Credit Unions on software to running sales groups for some of the largest Tech providers in the country. Most recently he has discovered a passion for working with emerging business within the FinTech Space. Steve continually promotes the idea that Information is Power. Small Businesses can fully compete in today’s market when they gain knowledge of, and partner with, cutting-edge Technology providers.
In his free time, Steve loves to travel and hike. He most recently completed a 30,000-mile road trip with his family across the United States, having visited 24 states and 17 National Parks during this adventure. Steve holds a BA in Education from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and an MBA from William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA.
Jake joined the Handy Networks team in 2020. He has a BA in Marketing and brings experience from a wide variety of industries to the team. With a strong people focused mentality, he is positioned to bring a unique refreshed perspective to the team.
In his spare time, Jake enjoys snowboarding in the winter, rock climbing, hiking, and camping in the summer, as well as spending time with his family and a cold beer friends any time of year!
Matt has been with Handy Networks for six years working in various roles and transitioned into the role of Key Account Manager three years ago. He has a strong focus on providing a seamless customer experience throughout all departments at Handy Networks.
In his spare time, you can find Matt skiing throughout Colorado in the winter and fishing and hiking during the warmer months.
Pete has operated in the tech sector for 25 years. Pete’s experience in the telecommunications industry and growth of the global internet have been valuable assets in the construction and implementation of customer environments and facility infrastructure.
When not at work, Pete enjoys building guitars and tube amplifiers and occasionally still plays them.
Jeff has over 16 years of hands-on experience in IT, specializing in virtualization, disaster recovery, designing and building highly available clustered environments, and automating IT infrastructure. Jeff prides himself on his ability to translate complex technical issues into easy to understand solutions, bridging the gap between engineering and client understanding.
In his free time Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, and playing video games whenever possible!
Anthony Kolka is a skilled systems engineer and developer who has over 20 years of total IT experience and has worked at Handy for more than 10 years. Anthony has been instrumental in developing numerous internal and external tools and applications in addition to assisting with general engineering work on a day to day basis.
Anthony lives in Michigan with his wife, cats, and dogs.
David started with Handy Networks in 2014 as Tier I support, and is currently working as the Hosting Support Manager and overseeing the operations of the Support team.
His experience has brought him the ability to effectively troubleshoot and maintain a broad swathe of technologies on Windows, Linux, and network devices, as well as automate tasks via shell or API scripting.
In his off-time, he likes to go on challenging hikes (weather permitting), go to concerts, build out personal projects, and generally relax.
Kyle has been on the Support team with Handy Networks since 2017. He specializes in troubleshooting web services, with a strong focus on cPanel.
When he isn’t manning the helpdesk, he makes short animations in his spare time and watches far too many true crime documentaries with his wife and dogs
